《Murphy Interviews》International Hostess Murphy DENGTing exclusive dialogue with Jiang Wei, the leader of the construction technology team of the China-Dominica Friendship Hospital Project in Roseau, the capital of the Dominican Republic. At the celebration of the 44th anniversary of Dominica's independence, China National aided hospital reconstruction and expansion project was awarded the Dominica National Outstanding Contribution Medal. Jiang Wei is a Hunan native and a member of Hunan Construction Investment Group. On behalf of Hunan Construction Investment Group, he accepted the Third Highest National Medal of Honor awarded by Dominic President Savarin to Cai Dianwei, Chairman of the Group, Liu Yiqi, Project Commander and himself. This medal is a medal awarded by the Dominican government to enterprises and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Dominica. It is also the first time that Chinese citizens have been awarded this honor. During the interview, Jiang Wei said that he would end his three-year work in Dominica at the end of November and return to the motherland Hunan, China!

The reconstruction and expansion project of the China-Dominica Friendship Hospital Project is one of the landmark projects of China Dominica cooperation, which is an important livelihood project and attracts wide attention. In order to express their gratitude to the Chinese government and people, Domonica government changed the name of the hospital from Princess Margaret Hospital to China-Dominica Friendship Hospital in September 2019. In November 2021, the head of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) visited the hospital and expressed that its facilities are world-class and is the most advanced medical and health center in the Caribbean. In August 2022, Prime Minister Skellett sent a letter to Chinese Ambassador to Dominica Lin Xianjiang, expressing sincere thanks to the China government on behalf of the Dominica government and people & appreciating the construction team & relevant personnel of the Project for overcoming many setbacks and difficulties to build a National China-Dominica Friendship Hospital of excellent quality for Dominica.

The China-Dominica Friendship Hospital is a China Government Aided Project funded by the Ministry of Commerce of China and is now the most advanced national hospital in the Caribbean Area! The China-Dominica Friendship Hospital Project was contracted by Hunan Construction Investment Group & has been given strong support in terms of funds and logistical support whenever the project encounters difficulties for six and a half years. Liu Yiqi, Head of Overseas Department and Project Commander of Hunan Construction Investment Group, coordinated the front construction and rear support, and effectively ensured the smooth construction of the project through scientific organization; Jiang Wei, the leader of the project construction technology team, has been at the construction site for three years, especially after the hurricane disaster in 2017 and during the COVID-19, leading the team members to overcome difficulties and complete the project construction with high quality and efficiency.
